Juwan Howard is now a casualty of the the Iverson for Billups trade but could be back in Denver.
The Nuggets waived reserve post Juwan Howard to make room on the roster for Billups, McDyess and Samb. But if McDyess is waived, as appears likely, the Nuggets could then re-sign Howard, whom Karl likes on his bench. The 24-year-old Samb, who hails from Senegal, has played in just four NBA games. The Nuggets might send him to the D-League, where he played most of last season.Â
