Even Jerry McGuire will be interested in adding Michael Beasley to his list of clients.   

“With the National Basketball Players Association confirming today that Heat first-round pick Michael Beasley has severed his ties with his agent, the gifted forward now can spend the next week and a half tying up loose ends. By union rule, a player cannot put replacement representation in place for 15 days following the dismissal of an agent. Beasley’s paperwork was filed last Wednesday, Sept. 10. That means the rookie out of Kansas State cannot finalize new representation until Sept. 25, two days before the start of training camp.”
