By waiving Miles, theBlazers took the remaining two years and $18 million on his contract off their salary cap. But if he plays in 10 games in either of the next two seasons, his salary would go back on Portland’s books. So the Blazers have to be quietly hoping that Miles never plays another NBA game.”
