Vertical leaps are vertical leaps. If your shorter, you got to get more more lift then if your taller. They're taller but have more mass to lift. That's why most of the spectacular dunks are from (relatively) shorter players, like Jordan. And don't forget that we're not talking about how tall he is. We're talking about the center of his body flying past another humans head. Yeah, the bigs can have some spectacular power dunks, but the high flying is generally left for the guards and SFs.
