Top 5: In Game Dunks Of All-Time

Hooped Up | August 22, 2008

5. Oh *hit! (2003 Mavericks vs. Cavaliers)
If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

Don’t give Tom Chambers credit for dunking over Marc Jackson.  At 6′10, that’s what you are supposed to do.  Say what you will about the Triple Double Jerk, this dunk was sick!  Steve Nash really thought he could get a charge call before Ricky Davis leaped over him.

Damn right, Oh $hit.

4. The Dunk (1993 Bulls vs. Knicks)
If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

You know it’s a classic when it’s called “The Dunk”.  Even if you hate the Knickerbockers, you jumped when you seen this dunk.  With the off hand on Jordan and Grant…come on haters.

2. Made It Reign (1993 Sonics vs. Warriors)
If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

If you don’t want to get pissed on,  you move out da way. Chris Mullin  knew this years before R.Kelly’s case but, Alton Lister….he got pissed on.

2. Take One of These (1983 Lakers vs. 76ers)
If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

Dr. J might have been be a doctor of dermatology after prescribing Michael Cooper a medical grade facial.  After this dunk Cooper should have rolled down his socks and grabbed Kurt Rambis’ glasses as a disguise for the rest of the game.

1. Kiss The Ring (2000 USA vs. France)
If you can see this, then you might need a Flash Player upgrade or you need to install Flash Player if it's missing. Get Flash Player from Adobe.

It’s 8 years later and this dunk is still ridiculous!  When a c*ck punch is your only option as a defender you know your doomed.

6-10 guys normally don’t jump over anyone. They’re taller but have more mass to lift. That’s why most of the spectacular dunks are from (relatively) shorter players, like Jordan. And don’t forget that we’re not talking about how tall he is. We’re talking about the center of his body flying past another humans head. Yeah, the bigs can have some spectacular power dunks, but the high flying is generally left for the guards and SFs. Give Chambers credit.

That Tom Chambers dunk is overrated. Vertical leaps are vertical leaps. If your shorter, you got to get more more lift then if your taller.

Jumping over somebody that is almost your height or taller is way harder then jumping over somebody alot shorter then yourself.

Tom Chambers had a nice jam, but Ricky Davis had a dope one.
