Dr. J’s All-time Team

It’s always interesting when a NBA great is asked who he would pick for an all-time team.  Mostly because they usually want to sneak themselves on the list. Below is the team Dr. J selected for his all-time NBA team.

“My five was, is, and always will be Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell, with Connie Hawkins coming off the bench as my sixth man to play guard, forward and center.”

  1. Jordan is only over rated to those that ARE extreme haters and ignorant. This isn’t even a discussion. You know that stats won’t help prove how over rated Jordan was, and quite frankly the NBA that we love now would not exist period!, there was no jordan if there was no Dr J, Oscar, Wilt, and Bill, but there is no NBA right now with out Jordan….so what you are saying is you would have nut hugger short wearing athletes like Karl Malone on your wall and wearing Converses too RIGHT! Do your homework bro, One man isn’t bigger than the game, but Michael Jordan was the game. Ask his number one fan….his name is David Stern, the reason why he is still commissioner.

  2. the only advantage jordan had over west and baylor was primetime television and sneakers. he was great but couldn’t crack my five.

oh ya, jerry west is the freakin’ nba logo not the jordan dr.j rip off jam.
