The Powe Show Headlines Game 2

Hooped Up | June 8, 2008

The Lakers might have got as close to a win in Boston, as they ever will tonight.  Although the Lakers made things interesting in the fourth quarter after trailing the C’s by 24 to close it to 102 - 104, it was all for not.

The Celtics had the game under control from the tip and If the Lakers were Superman Leon Powe was like green kryptonite shamrocks. Owning the Lakers with 21 points in 15 minutes of work.

Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 28 points along with 8 dimes.  Kobe Bryant had 30 points and 8 assist but nobody cares.

Game 3 is Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
