Hooped Up

The Miami Heat contacted the Sonics about troubled guard Smush Parker, and the Sonics told the club they weren’t interested. Parker, who had an infamous tiff with former Sonics coach Bob Hill while at Fordham, was banished by the Heat following an altercation with a Miami parking lot attendant about a fee. He hasn’t played since Nov. 24.
