Shaq Upset With Poor Start
Hooped Up | December 7, 2007
If Heat center Shaquille O’Neal is on the decline, he’s not going down quietly. Upset with his team’s poor start, and with his teammate’s inability to get him the ball, O’Neal might have reached a breaking point. O’Neal, 35, is averaging career lows in points (15.4), rebounds (7.4), minutes (28.4) and field-goal attempts (10.8). He also has an all-time low level of tolerance for teammates who can’t seem to get on the same page with him, and others who say his age is the biggest reason behind his decrease in production.

Maybe it is me but I am on Shaq's side
FireDannyAinge | December 8, 2007Maybe it is me but I am on Shaq’s side here. Riley brought in teammates that aren’t willing to pass Shaq the ball. Then he blames Shaq for not playing hard enough? Doesn’t seem right to me to blame Shaq when he is shooting 59% and only taking 10 shots a game.
As bad as the Wolves are I bet Walker is thrilled he isn’t in Miami taking all the blame for Miami’s woes.
I agree! They work better as an inside outside team
Mark | December 10, 2007I agree! They work better as an inside outside team and need to give Shaq more touches. If Riley would have brought in a better supporting cast to surround Shaq, things would be way different.
