Lee’s frustration seemed to be as much about the fact that the pain won’t go away as it is about not fully knowing the cause of it. Doctors told him he has fluid near the bone, and an MRI exam revealed no fracture. The best remedy, he was told, is rest. “I’m just frustrated because it’s tough to know exactly what’s going on right now, and (there’s) not a lot of progress,” he said. “I’m trying to get it better and doing all the steps they’re telling me to do, and it’s not going as quickly as I’d hoped.”
