Will “Birdman” Fly Again For The Hornets?

Byron Scott said if Chris “Birdman” Andersen, who was banned by the NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug policy in January 2006, is cleared to return to the league, he would welcome him back to the Hornets. Andersen, who attended Sunday’s game in Oklahoma City, can apply for reinstatement in January. “If he is cleared by the NBA and everything, I would love to have Birdman back,” Scott said. “. . . He was one of my favorites. He’s very coachable and played as hard as anybody, and I would love to have him back.
