Baron Davis is scheduled to rejoin the Warriors on the practice court on Saturday, but he won’t be resuming his usual heavy workload once he’s ready for game action.
“If he could play, I would start him,” coach Don Nelson said Friday. “But probably not overplay him. He’d be a 20-minute guy, 25-minute guy.”
Nelson, interviewed on the radio the other day, sounded beat and beaten. His Warriors, with or without Baron, appear to be taking their preordained location in the Pacific Division — Deep in the Bunker.
